The focus should be kept on solution of practical tasks. It is necessary to involve business representatives in the educational process. Without scrutiny of real working situations along with analysis of the “problematic aspects” the education itself will stay far from being effective. Theoretical knowledge is a great thing but more often students lack the understanding of the “real” market and their roles within the processes of their company.
Very often the higher educational institutions form within the students an understanding of their own exclusiveness and importance. On practice that sensation is supported with merely obtaining a diploma. While coming to work the graduate as a rule does not own any practical experience but his/her career and salary expectations are overestimated. This complicated the situation both for the employee and the employer.
And, of course, there is a need for training leadership skills. An individual should manage to set up in the front the goal, aim at it and involve the others into that process.

Fundamental knowledge and specializations which the higher educational institution grants in the direction of “Banking Business and Finances” is sufficient enough to successfully start a career at a bank.
It is worth paying attention to professional orientation of the students from the point of view of their career startup. They have a too narrow idea of various referrals of working in the sphere of banking. One and all students want to work in the stock market with products investments but which is a very narrow segment in which one by no means will be capable to find himself just jumping from student’s bench.
It is quite possible that if employers could be involved in the process with their presentations by the start of students’ specialization or if that block could be integrated into the curriculum the situation could become balanced.

BINBANK, Director of the Department of Strategic and Corporate Management
Once talking of specific knowledge then I should mention that the biggest problem is the lack of elementary knowledge of accountancy as well as the understanding of the idea of servicing retail clients which is built upon the sales of banking products. The work at a bank is first of all a work with a client but not money.
In general and in my opinion the graduates mainly lack not only knowledge but mostly personal development. Knowledge nowadays is not a rarity since it is accessible. Any literate individual can easily find all the required information from the internet and other sources. The main personal merits which are underdeveloped within the graduate students are the results orientation, diligence and aspiration for self-development.
